Here you can view a range of Kate's skills and projects from throughout the years.
Kate graduated from the London College of Fashion in Bespoke Tailoring in July 2022. Since graduating, Kate has used her skills and knowledge to make costumes for her masters degree.
Kate constructed Jacob Marley's costume for The Richard Burtons Company's production of A Christmas Carol in 2023 using traditional bespoke tailoring methods.
Kate has a huge knowledge of pattern drafting, and has lots of experience using the draping method. Kate constructed a bias cut red dress for Annabella Schmitt's dress in The Richard Burtons Company's production of The 39 Steps in 2022 using the draping method to create the dress pattern.
Bias cut garments are often considered difficult to execute successfully. Kate constructed a bias cut jumpsuit for The Princess in The Richard Burtons Company's production of Sleeping Beauty Opera in 2024.
While studying at the Royal Welsh College, Kate had the opportunity to work with a range of leathers. The first project was a bull mask for the musical production of Women on the Verge of a Nervous Breakdown, where she first found her love for leatherwork. The second jacket was a commission for a music video for a local metal band.
